Ron Wilch has been recognized by Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly 2017 as the Best.
His entrepreneurial vision for the city, and ambition to unify the industry, led him to produce numerous fashion trade shows, from 1992 through 2005. This commitment to the apparel industry and to revitalizing the manufacturing sector led to his recognition as the ‘FASHION CZAR of Philadelphia’, by former Mayor of Philadelphia, Ed Rendell. Ron has received numerous citations for his diligent and enthusiastic efforts to develop growth of the apparel design and manufacturing industries, and has traveled to numerous countries in search of partnerships in product manufacturing.
Not only has Ron custom designed for a host of Hollywood celebrities, and government officials, his 37 years in the apparel industry represents a wealth of experience that would be invaluable to emerging designers.
As a former associate professor at Philadelphia University, Ron’s vision for the near future is to teach and train young people the art of tailoring and designing under the mission of Boys 2 Bosses self improvement business development think tank.
