Objective:
This proposal outlines the process and expectations for a 12-month private label apparel design and sample development project. Wardrobe Clinic will oversee the entire pattern-making, sample creation, and adjustment process to ensure a high-quality outcome for each design.
Project Overview:
Wardrobe Clinic, led by fashion expert Ron Wilch, will provide comprehensive consulting and production services for the development of a private label apparel collection. The project will include the following phases:
1. Initial Consultation & Concept Development
2. Pattern Design and Sample Development
3. Fittings, Adjustments, and Revisions
4. Final Sample Approval
5. Production Planning (optional)
Terms & Conditions:
1. Retainer Deposit:
To initiate the project, a non-refundable $5,000 retainer deposit is required. This retainer covers consulting services and the initial design and development setup for the project.
2. Cost Per Item:
Each sample will be charged based on the complexity of the design. Pricing will be provided after the initial consultation, with rates ranging from:
• Basic Garments: $150 - $500 per item
• Intermediate Designs: $500 - $1,000 per item
• Advanced/High-End Pieces: $1,000+ per item
Note: Final pricing will be determined by fabric selection, detailing, and embellishments.
Scope of Work:
Wardrobe Clinic will manage all aspects of the sample development process, ensuring each piece is designed to the client’s specifications.
Services Provided:
• Pattern Design: Creation of initial garment patterns from sketches or design briefs.
• Sample Development: Construction of first samples for each design.
• Fittings & Adjustments: In-person or virtual fittings to assess the fit and make necessary adjustments to patterns and samples.
• Revisions: All adjustments will be made in a timely manner to ensure the project stays on schedule.
• Final Sample Approval: Once all revisions are complete, final samples will be presented for approval.
Timeline:
The project will span 12 months, with key deliverables scheduled each quarter to ensure a steady progression of the collection.

Consultant:
Ron Wilch will serve as the Head Consultant and Project Manager for Wardrobe Clinic. With over 40 years of experience in the fashion industry, Ron will provide expert guidance in all aspects of design and production.
Payment Terms:
• Retainer Deposit: $5,000 (non-refundable, due at project initiation)
• Cost Per Item: Billed based on complexity and provided with each design brief
• Payment Schedule:
• 50% of item cost due before sample creation
• 50% balance due upon delivery of the final sample
Client Responsibilities:
The client is expected to:
• Provide design briefs, sketches, or reference materials for each item.
• Attend scheduled fittings and provide feedback on samples.
• Approve adjustments and final samples in a timely manner to keep the project on schedule.

Wardrobe Clinic will ensure:
• High-quality craftsmanship for each pattern and sample.
• Timely communication and updates throughout the process.
• All adjustments and revisions are completed efficiently and professionally.
Additional Services (Optional):
Wardrobe Clinic can also assist with:
• Production Planning – Sourcing manufacturers and overseeing production.
• Fabric & Trim Sourcing – Providing recommendations for high-quality materials.
• Branding Consultation – Assisting with brand development, including labels, tags, and packaging.
